So from what I have read the new skylake boards will have DDR4 and DDR3L compatibility, from what I have found online this is the difference between DDR3/DDR3L:

DDR3: 1.5v
DDR3L: 1.35v
DDR3U: 1.25v

So am I correct in saying L and U are just new fancy ways of saying they are low voltage?

I have the following RAM: DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V 1024Meg x 64

Am I correct in saying that it should work with DDR3L boards as although it's not DDR3L certified it is made according to the standard that later became DDR3L?
