hi i have Trident Z 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-3200C19 4000MHz Dual Channel Kit (F4-4000C19D-16GTZKW) and it sometimes does boot on xmp but then my game fails after a few minutes with extreme stuttering and lag then crash, on the previous bios it would not boot at all on xmp 4000mhz so maybe after some time the bios will be updated enough for it to work properly, i noticed the northbridge runs at max 4000mhz but if ram runs the same to there is no head room above that, my cpu is i7 8700k and motherboard asus tuf z370 plus gaming advertised ram speed 4000mhz specs say 3866mhz, but regardless i cant get ram past 3200mhz unless on xmp, i assume there must be something in the bios i need to alter, but i am also assuming that it would be automatic for the speed i set, i also ran windows memtest which past the test without a problem.... so i am at a loss, i have tried the load optimal settings and reset ect but no joy...
