DDR4 not running at box speed

Hi all

I have 16gb of Corsair Vengence 3000mhz.. when i boot to BIOS it says 2133mhz is the speed, how do i get it to run full 3000mhz?

System specs:

Ryzen 2600
16gb Corsair Vengence 3000mhz
MSI b450 Mortar Max
Radeon rx5700 8gb
Corsair TX550m

Any help appreciated

Should be as straight forward as setting XMP for the RAM/Chip you have, people occasionally run into issues but they're generally easily resolved.

Memory rated at higher speeds is technically just OC'd, the built in XMP profiles essentially just set them at the claimed speeds for you.

My motherboard has 3 profiles...

Off
Profile 1
Profile 2

One of the Profiles is 2666mhz and other is 29** (can't remember the last 2 digits) so I'm guessing I can just select the quicker one then be on my way?
