Are you going for Skylake or Haswell-E? (Z170 or X99)?
The one you linked is Haswell-E, in which case RAM speed doesn't really matter.
You can get 3000MHz kits for almost the same price as 2400MHz kits so you may as well spend the extra couple of quid on the higher rated kits - That way, if something does benefit from the higher frequency, it will be able to utilise it.
But the bottom line is, 2400MHz will be fine and you won't be losing a lot of performance if you do opt for it
