Since haveing this memory been trying to lower timings with very little success best I could get was 36 54 54 54 115 @8200 With ring 40 ngu 34 DD 36

kept seeing on other forums people with same speed memory getting much better timings thought I had tried every thing

so on going through some of the more advanced options ie resistance settings basic and advanced I found that the basics for each dimm where well out from each other so i set them both manually to the one showing the lowest resistances.

Now I can do 9000 @ those timing or @8200 I can run ring 41 ngu 35 dd 40 same cas but very tight timings

but doing this has highlight the fact this memory needs better cooling as the heatsinks are a pita even with direct air cooling once they hit 50c they throw errors @ higher speeds

waterblock being fitted to ram so going to have to a total retune hopeing to get some good results once I get my head around this 2006 Bios

Hope this Information prooves usefull

50c does sound high for direct airflow. The G Skill heatspreaders are among the worst offenders, so you may notice better results by just running naked DIMMs with the fan over them tbh.

memory turned out to be faulty on one stick when waterblock fitted replaced memory with 9000 cudimm. and im swapping my hero out for an apex my son can have the hero. and ill use his strix to build me daughters rig

hopefully get some decent results this weekend need to do a teardown and clean loop
