Hello..

I was wondering if anyone here is able to help? I'm a bit lost with the following..

I don't understand why my system is telling me that my DRAM status is 4800Mhz when in the bios is says it's set to 6000Mhz?

Thank you in advance!

Could be a glitch

Download cpuz and check memory to confirm your at 6000mhz and same timmings as xmp.

Remember it's double date ram so it will show 3000 and then doubled .

the memory in the bios will always show its default speed and timmings, speed is always 4800mhz but timmings differ between kits, as long as you enable expo your ram will run at its rated max speed and not 4800hmz, its the same on my asus board, until i boot my system shows ram at 4800mhz, think of it as a fail safe if expo goes wrong the board will default back during memory traning (code15) and allow you to boot instead of not and boot looping.

all's sorted above so dont worry :)
