DDR5 RAM

Hi Guys,

New to this PC stuff, I'm looking at upgrading my ram currently from 16gb DDR5 to 24GB by adding an 8gb stick, I was wondering what RAM will be compatible in my system. I've attached a screenshot of whats already in it, any suggestions would be grateful.

I can't find any information for that part number, is your PC an HP?

A bit weird that it has EXPO/XMP profiles for running at 5200, that's a slow speed and I wouldn't normally expect it to need that.

Since the memory chips are Micron, a Crucial stick would be my best guess for compatibility, but mixing sticks with different XMP/EXPO profiles (or that don't need it) is going to have unpredictable results.

Hard to recommend anything other than upgrading to 2x16

Thats correct its a HP PC.

What two RAM sticks do you recommend I buy?

Can you get us the part number of the PC?

Or, failing that, the motherboard model?

You can also put that information into the Crucial or Kingston configurators and they should give you a recommendation.
