Hello OCUK,

I have been playing around with an old WNR2200 router with a view to using it as a client bridge. In my quest to get everything working I have dropped a clanger (my networking knowledge is limited in the grand scheme of things) and changed the router subnet in the DDWRT gui to one that doesnt corresponde to its IP range. Hopefully the below explains simply enough:

Origionally was:
Router IP - 192.168.1.1
Subnet - 255.255.255.0

Currently:
Router IP - 192.168.1.1
Subnet - 255.255.255.255

The problem being, I now cant connect to the router via DHCP or by setting the IP manually in windows (direct ethernet connection. I have tried the 30/30/30 reset method but that doesnt seem to work - I'm wondering if the reset button is disabled.

The router itself seems to be working fine, I can see its WiFi SSID being broadcast, but as with a wired connection, I cannot connect.

Can any of you networking gurus suggest how I might be able to access the router GUI to reset said dropped clanger?

Thanks a lot,

Russ
