De-authorising Itunes account

If you still have access to the machine then you can deauthorize before trashing it, (but who remembers to do that 
) ... I think that if you have the maximum number of machine slots in use then you can deauthorize all of them at once from your account page (Store -> View My Account)
... i think that's the case, (I've had to do it before). Of course once that's done you need to re-authorize on the systems that should have access.
