Deactivating Vista

Hello all

I built a new PC back around March and Vista seemed to be working fine. Slowly but surely problems occured, every so often either it'd BSOD or freeze entirely and necessary Windows files would get deleted thus not be able to boot and requiring fresh installs. Anyway, i tried to get on it the other day but says the code has already be used, does this mean i need to deactivate Vista? If so, how?

Also, could there be a problem with my HDD, it's a Seagate Barracuda 320GB SATA II, i'm running Seatools as i type.

Many thanks

Aye pretty much, but i'd like to know if it's worth installing to the same HDD, Seatools just seems to abort the tests, it gets right to the end and then says ABORTED. Same applies to my 100% working HDD

Well, it will only let me type in my code, i can't even get into the OS. It says it isn't genuine. I've tried the phone activation before but to no avail.

Ringing the automated line doesn't work, i'll give them the code etc and they'll give me theirs and it still won't work. Ringing MS, am i gonna have to speak to an Arab who can't understand a word i say?
