The short of it, I had an ACER 24" AL2416W screen res 1920 x 1200 it now works for a few min then the screen fades to black I reckon the main signal board has died bit of a shame as I really liked the screen nice colour contrast and definition... I know that to get the same resolution is now expensive as the usual is 1920 x 1080.
Now the tricky part im pretty much broke due to some personal probs getting divorced
but I really need to get a replacement monitor generally for gaming surfing the internet for research generally for work research.
Crunch is I can muster up about £150 may be able to stretch to £170 if I walk to work for a cpl of weeks...
Need to have DVI and if possible HDMI and 24" preferable as screen real-estate is quite important to me I spend a-lot of time on computers as I'm an IT tech.
Have been looking at The OC OWN brand No idea how good this is
Or iiyama 24"
open to suggestions on this one folks ive even been looking at the hans-g 25" one as well but I really dont know.
