I have a 256mb gainward geforce 6800gt and last week i turned on the comp and nothing came up on the screen, no loading nothing. I tried turning the comp on and off several times and nothing. After some tinkering around with it and taking the card out putting it back in i still got nothing.
So i dug out an old rig and was setting that up installing programs i wanted in preperation of waiting days/weeks to either rma my 6800 or buy a new card, anyway as one last ditch lets just try one more time and see , i hooked up the monitor to the 6800 rig and what do ya know, up comes the load up screen windows loaded everything worked fine. .... for like 3days, now this mornin suddenly the same problem? i am totally stuck, is it the video card on the fritz? should i be rma'ing it or could it be something else?
