Any views on what I can do with a 290X that is probably faulty, but out of warranty?

These boys run hot, I initially used for mining, only 3 months. I then noticed, occasionally, during games that there would be stuttering or even black screens, once a week. Removed cooler and replaced with Accelero IV, and no issues. More recently, same issues reappeared i.e. dying in games.

As I changed the cooler, the GPU is out of warranty... Is it worth selling (as faulty) on an auction site?
 
For me this could well be BGA issue.

Try reflow the card this could well fix all your problems.
 
Thanks 8pack, I have no idea how to solder - just found a place that does it for £10! excellent
