My 2006? White 13" Macbooks Seagate Momentus 5400.3 80gb hd has bitten the dust.

So I need a new drive, obviously I am not going to take it to apple, but I was wondering as the drive could be described as the weak point of the system which drive could I replace it with. Space is not an issue as I have just built myself a 2tb server, I am more interested in speed. Would a 7200 drive work in there for example?

Thanks in advance

An SSD would be an option as I am not bothered about size however would an ssd work on a 2006 macbook?

upto sata speeds it should

Ok, so I am better off going for size over speed on SSD as the quicker drives will not give me anything ex

I.E. would I notice a difference between

OCZ 30GB Vertex SSD 2.5" SATA-II Read = 210MB/s, Write = 135MB/s

and

OCZ 60GB Vertex Plus SSD - 2.5" SATA-II - Read 185MB/s Write 90MB/s
