I woke on Tuesday morning to find my broadband was down.
On investigating I found that my unlocked HG612 was going through a regular loop which included the Ethernet port connection LEDs going completely off. According to my thinkbroadband BQM this started to happen at almost exactly 04:30 in the morning. I swapped it out for one of my spares and the connection came back up.
When I tried to connect to LAN2 on the failed HG612 I couldn't. Using the reset button put it back into firmware upgrade mode and it accepted a reflash. I was then able to login via LAN2 and all seemed well. Unfortunately when I tried it back on the phone line it dropped back into the LED blinking failure mode I'd started with.
Anyone seen this sort of problem with a HG612, and especially an unlocked one?
