Dead Joystick ?

Sooo....today got my x52 Pro Joystick....all the installation went well , no problems ...even went in to Elite Dangerous and the Joystick worked well as it should

Anyway....had to re-root ( behind my monitors )the cable that links the two parts together ( the joystick and thruster box )...removed USB cable from back of PC , removed the linking cable from both boxes....re-rooted cable and reconnected the linking cable to the joystick and the thruster boxes...then connected the USB cable to the back of my PC, only to discover the joystick now seems to be dead in the water , also the LED screen on the thruster box has a flicker to it , so its dead right ?

Are you using a usb 2 or usb 3 port?

x52 is very picky about this - make sure its a usb 2 port.

yes I have been mooching about online and it seems it's a common issue , but I did un-install the USB3 drivers , and yes it was into a USB2 port...and I'm kinda thinking if the stick was actually dead then I wouldn't get the power LED on the joystick box itself I guess

When I had mine it only worked in one of my usb ports which frustrated me to the point that I replaced it.

Yeah I did feel like chucking it out of the window lol but I shall have to see how it goes over the weekend
