Laptop simply shows no signs of life, either via battery power or ac adapter. Unable to check the battery, but I managed to test the ac adapter on another laptop and it works fine.

When the ac adapter is connected to the Amilo Pro , no LED's light up at all, which leads me to believe something is seriously wrong.

Any one offer an advice?

Remove the battery and AC Adapter from the laptop.
Hold down the power button for 10-20 seconds.
Plug the AC adapter into the laptop.
Attempt to turn the laptop on.

Followed the steps and nothing initially happended. However after holding down the power button for 5+ secs I now have two LED flashing orange, namely the sleep and the battery lights. Laptop tries to boot , hard disk light flashes but then the system cuts out.

Thanks for help,

The fujitsu forums were the first place I posted, but it's damn quite over there. Guess my next step is to contact support.

So I get two flashing orange lights ( sleep and battery ) even when the battery isn't attached. I suspect it means something died. ^^;

I'll send an email off to Fujitsu support and find out I guess.

Thanks again

Quiet? Aww, it used to be fairly busy when I used to have a FSC Amilo.
Looking around, it does seem to be a fairly uncommon problem (2 Flashing Orange LEDs), but I'm fairly confident that FSC's Support Team will be able to help.
