I just got a new processor for my laptop today. Went ahead and replaced it (something which I'm fairly familier with) and now when I try to power it on, the heatsink/fan doesnt seem to be powering up and theres no post. There is power going to the laptop however.
I think I might have shorted the motherboard, but I dunno. Whats worse is the machine comes with an open case warrenty, of which I still have 2 years left, but the company I bought it from went into administration yesterday.
Any ideas anyone?
