Win 7 x64 Pro. Outlook 2007 all patched. For a while now and from any browser, no URL's make it into an email alive. They used to be pasteable and be blue and work, now I have to make them active. I have searched and failed. Ideas on the side of cream cake please.

Thanks

I need to repost this as it is annoying me . Someone must know the answer tot this surely, what with all the knowledge on here. Say I wanted to link this page to a mate. I used to be able to click "file" / "send" / "link by email" and Outlook would open with the hyperlink intact, i.e. blue and active. This no longer happens with any browser. I have just rebuilt the rig and it still does not work. Research has only provided a headache. Outlook only opens in plain text mode even though the default format is HTML. Thanks

Nevram..

If I highlight a URL then copy it, the open a message and paste it then press enter. The links works. However, there has been a function in browsers for eons that allows this operation to happen in one. If I am at a page, say google.co.uk, and I click File/Send/Link by email Outlook opens in a plain text message blank with the URL dead as you would expect for a plain text message. However the options for ALL new messages in Outlook is set to HTML.

zakblood.. Thanks slightly different issue but I followed the instructions. No good sorry. Thanks though
