Dead mailbox

Evening all,

Is there a way to stop an email from being able to send any messages?

I'm planning on setting up a mailbox to pickup attachments to a distribution list, and save in its own google drive, but don't want it to go awry incase I have missed anything.

I plan on using gmail2gdrive just incase anyone is wondering.
