Hello,
My Titan Tyranosaur (can't spell lol) has "died" after two years.
Basically the system was running incredibly slow, therefore I shut the PC down. However when I tried to turn it back on nothing happened, no lights, nothing. It seemed like a dead PSU and I replaced it, but again nothing works.
Now it is looking like a dead motherboard (Gigabyte ga-z68-ud4-b3), the power supply and power switch look good on the multimeter.
When we tried jump starting the PSU with it connected to the board and fans, if the reset switch wire was moved slightly the blue activity light would flicker, and the fans (and the purple LEDs) would start and cut off when the "sweet spot" was lost.
So the power is being distributed to some extent, but all signs to me is pointing to a dead motherboard. I really don't want the hassle of replacing it, but again don't have the money for a future proof system right now.
So do you think it is a definite motherboard replacement? If so can you recommend a compatible replacement for my current one. I want to be sure that it is completely dead first, that's life :/
Thanks,
Dan
