basically i havent used this for a year and it was fine then but now when connecting direct to either my PC or laptop (direct) (win 8.1 x64) i get a usb device malfunctioned error.

if i plug the dock instead it picks that up fine. theproblem them is that the mouse refuses to charge. it's in the wired position and still showing 0% after hours.

i thought originally that the battery had depleted too much and failed but even taking that out and plugging the mouse direct should still work no?

just seem like a dead mouse?

no warrant hope - bought in late 2012

I had something similar with my Razer Blackwidow keyboard... in fact, its still doing the same thing, can't get it to recognise at all. Likewise, no warranty hope as was purchased around the same time, or when it was first released.

I've also started having issues with my Razer Mamba (2012) where I'm moving my cursor around the screen, it seems to stick in one place, or leap around the screen on its own.

Both I've tried in different PC's and laptops, with W7 and W8, no joy. I don't think i'll be buying another Razer product again, which is a shame, because I actually like the stuff they make, but for the price it just doesn't seem to last.

same thoughts. loved the naga when i used it, so much better than any logitech one i've used.

need a new mouse now that's as comfy as a naga epic or a G700 logitech (wifi of course) but not sure where to begin - especially as i was let down my logitech by their CS/warranty last time around

I'm surprised they let you down. Logitech has always honored any warranty requests I've had even with a headset which was purchased in the USA.

this is why i will never buy another razer product again, one huge problem i've had with razer naga's in the past is the mouse wheels breaking, great product in terms of comfort and use but very poor build quality. I now use a logitech g600 have been for over 2 years and it's still going strong with no issues what so ever
