Last night my net connection died but the whole network connection, both wired and wireless in my house was fine. Went into the admin options to check it out and it looks like the modem built into it has died. My ISP did checks on my line and an ADSL signal is being sent to my house but my router reads 0db on noise etc and 0kbps on download and upload rates.

i you done a hard reset and its still not working then i suggest you start making the funeral arrangements.
