For some reason my PC had been running perfectly fine after changing a few ram settings, and I had kept it on (hot rebooting occasionally for various reasons, installations etc).

But one day I got fed up of being so bored and ended up turning the PC off for the first time in weeks so I could nicely and quietly read a book.

Anyhow, after turning the PC back on, I noticed it was back to its old unstable ways: blue screening etc again and again.

So I went into BIOS and disabled ram CPC, and set timings to 3-4-4-8.

After that my PC just would not boot. I've tried clearing CMOS loads of times, even tried pulling out the CMOS battery and leaving it out for hours, but all to no avail.

My motherboard is the LanParty SLI-DR, and the diagnostic LEDs show 3 lit up, as well as my power LED on my case flashing

I've been able to find on google what the 3 LEDs mean (problem with RAM), but I have no idea what the flashing Power LED means.

The most annoying thing is that I do not have any spare ram to try

Any advice?

/edit: oh sorry forgot to mention I've tried the individual ram sticks in different slots and they didnt make any difference either :(

nevermind... fixed it.

My PC is in pieces connected all over my desk with motherboard lying on packs of chewing gum but it works now :)

Thanks for your help everyone :p
