Hey, i have this PC that im trying to get working, it didnt have a HDD in it so i put an old 40GB one inside and booted it up. Everything came up fine so i went ahead and installed Windows XP, half way through the installation process the screen just went blank.
Now everytime i turn the PC on i get no signal going to the monitor, no BIOS beeps (even when i took out the RAM chips and booted it up i didnt get any Error Beeps that should have come through.) Also, i dont think the HDD's, (I've tried 2 different ones in there) are even spinning up when the power is turned on. Everything else powers on fine, all the fans and lights and the floppy drive / disk drives, just not the HDD and no BIOS or POST comes on the screen either.
