dead pixel check on second screen

i got dead pixel buddy but it is only checking the primary screen which is the laptop screen which isn't let me change the second to the primary so i can't check the second for dead pixels. anyone know how i'd use dpb or any other software to check for dead pixels on the second screen, thanks

disable the laptop screen temporarily thereby making the external screen the primary?

or just turn on the screen, and while it is black look for dead pixels - if there are none, then make a big white picture and check for black pixels.

it wont let me disable the laptop screen, only the second, and when changing the primary monitor to the second screen it just turns the second screen off for a second and then goes back to laptop as primary.

guess i got to make a load of really big colourful images then
