Afternoon!
I purchased an AOC 2795Vh last week. I received it on Friday and have tested it over the weekend and can see that there are two faulty pixels, one is white, one is stuck on red.
I decided to purchase it from a different online retailer (owned by a tribe of warrior women) as I half expected that I might end up with this problem and thought they might have a more robust returns policy.
As I've only had the monitor a couple of days I'm assuming it is still possible to return it under DSR provided I box everything up nice and pretty again. I'm concious that I might incur a deduction in my refund for the return shipping and the fact that it has been opened, and wondered if anyone had any experience as to how much this might be. I half thinking it might be too much effort to get it sent back and incur various charged for what are defects I can only see in a pixel tester, but at the same time I'm thinking that for something that is a couple of hundred quid it's worth going through the hassle of making sure it's perfect at the point of purchase.
I'm thinking I'll just return it and get a Asus VE276Q from here. What do you guys think?
