Nah, had it over 2 years now so I am guessing warranty is gone.

Hasn't been poked or anything I just woke up and it was like that.

Its actually gotten worse since this morning :(

Ah I read dell monitors have 3 year warranty, will look into it.

That monitor should come with a 3 year warranty from dell.

I would suggest finding the service tag, (or "dell works order number" that is on a sticker on the original box), the serial number (on the back of the monitor) and the company name of the reseller you bought it from (unless you bought it direct from dell).

Then call them up on the dell technical support line (0844 338 1200) and ask to be transferred to the monitor section. Once there explain clearly to them your problem and be ready with the info I mentioned above.

Thanks, don't have the box anymore, so hopefully just the serial number will do - It does say 2008 on the back of the monitor tho so might be pushing it :(

Got it from OCUK (went to the store)

Ah, in that case I would contact OCUK and see if they have a record of the sale. With any luck then will have a record of both the date of purchase and dell works order number. I'm not sure dell will let you proceed with a warranty claim without the works order number.

As for the "2008" on the back of the monitor, that should be the manufacture date. With any luck the date you purchased it will be within the three years warranty period which started as soon as you bought it from OCUK.

Found the box, they are sending out a replacement tomorrow :D

In warranty by less than 15 days ;)

Picture difference is pretty massive :) lol

How do I go about screen calibrating? I have no idea where to start, is there a decent program for it?

Thanks.
