Dead pixels still a problem?

I'm seriously considering taking the plunge and getting a TFT pretty soon but I'm quite worried about the whole 'dead pixel' issue.

Is this still a potential headache with TFTs? How many places offer returns when you're 'rolling' in dead pixels and how am I covered by distance seller regs?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks for the info. I guess I won't use my localish shop as DSR seems to be the only port of call when lumbered with such joyous pixels.
