I have just taken delivery of a SAMSUNG LE46M86BD I must say its quite a beast:D.
Anyway it has 3 stuck pixels two green and one pink/red now the green ones can not been seen when the screen is white, only if it is black and visa versa with the pink one.

My question is what would you do send it back under the 7 day cooling off period or live with them. I'm in two minds atm as I can not see them when sat down for normal viewing only when close up but its just the fact I know they are there(if that makes sense)

The fact that you know they are there is what would put me off too, even if in reality they don't affect what you see much at all.

Personally I'd want to replace it as I'm a perfectionist.

I replaced my screen once when it had 2 dead pixels.
I know this one has 1 green pixel somewhere which I could never see until my girlfriend pointed it out but she knows she isn't allowed to tell me where it is as I'll stare at it all the time once I know where it is!

If you forget about it it'll be fine but if you keep thinking about them and staring at them they will annoy you :p

My current HDTV has 3 dead pixels, i've just tried to put them to the back of my mind now and forget about them, they really don't bother me anymore.

My GF's TFT Monitor must have about 10 dead pixel's and she's totally not bothered lol.

I decided to keep it got it wall mounted now just need to find myself a new stand to go under it.
I will get some pictures up when i get some time.
I have to say it looks a hell of a lot better than my old philips plasma, the only fault I have found with it so far bar the pixels it seems to be a dust magnet (which I suppose makes doing the rest of the room easier):D

How close do you sit to your tv. I have one stuck pixel on one of my TV's and if I move back 3 foot you cant see it anymore. Doesn't bother me at all. After all i'm sitting 8 feet or more away anyway. Going nearer the tv the pixelation bugs me more than one pixel being out.

Well another update seems it has the mystery "no signal" bug with freeview, so in effect its totally missing freeview from the set as it will not pick anything up so looks like i will be on the phone in the morning anyway.
