Hello,

i have just recieved my new Acer G24 (blue / black) from overclockers and i have noticed a lot of dead pixels, well by a lot i mean around 15 seperate "clusters", everytime i look at the screen i find another one lol....

Anyone think that this allows me to contact overclockers and get another one sent out?

the monitor its self is brilliant tho, its massive (upgraded from a 19" lol) and is super bright.

Shame about the dead pixels.

15 seems like a hell of a lot. Are you sure? Sometimes when you try to find these things your eyes can make you think your seeing them. If you really do have 15, makes you wonder what Acers quality control people must be doing. But im sure you'll have no problems returning it with that many. I think Acer's policy is 1 pixel if in the central viewing area and then 3 or 4 if is in any one area of the screen so you should be fine, not sure about overclockers though. Cant see them saying no if it really is 15.

quality control can't check every monitor. they only check one in a few. the higher the "quality controll" the more they check.

this must be some kind of fluke.
