I guess PS3's are not as robust as I guessed. They survive a 4,000 mile flight but moving them from upstairs to downstairs kills them?
. Internet went dead a few days ago after the 2.7 update so I spent a few days playing Dead Space and UT3. Managed to get all but 1 trophy on Dead Space with 4 chapters remaining before platinum and a truck load of progress on UT3. But my PS3's display output decides to fail before I can re-sync the trophies exterminating loads of progress, and to boot, SCEA refuse to touch it because its a UK PS3
I'm extremely angry with Sony as I was not expecting a PS3 to die 6 months into its life and to be given the middle finger back and to buy another. Just waiting on SCEE's reply e-mail as to if it is dead or not. Shipping costs to return it will be almost as much as buying a replacement, but since this is the second time I've been screwed by Sony (first count was because of the Lik Sang derailment) I doubt I will get another PS3. At least if the sucker is dead, I get to vent my anger on it.

plus its a pretty easy deal tbh, and there's no 2 week wait like some other consoles, life isn't perfect and certainly no electronics are
