My nephew has got a psp which was brought for him for xmas from woolworths. The psp wont read discs and woolworths are refusing to refund or replace "its not their policy" and that they should take it up with sony.

Thats not right is it?

Within a year dont they have to sort it out?

Any links or advice would be helpfull.

Thanks guys

Others will correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure it is their responsibility as the seller to sort it out within a year if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah Woolies should sort it but tbh your probably better offer going directly to Sony as it will be allot quicker.

Yeah Woolies should sort it out for ya i think if it was only bought at christmas then they should either replace it or give a refund as said, if they replace it, then they give you a new one, and then they send your's off to Sony or whoever. :)

I know sony will just replace it which is great, but is anyone else shocked at how many PSP's are going wrong, I know about 10 people who have them, and know of 4 of them who have sent their first back.
Problem is htere is so many sony fanboys out there, no-one complains about it they just get on with it, which is again fine, but everyone who has an x360 break are up in arms about it. Some people have been unlucks, but the vast majority are very happy!

not true people on this forum moan about sony all the time

OK, I must be missing most of it then, Not trying to cause argument, its just sony tend to get a bit rose coloured sometimes, and microsoft release a good product at a great price and its slated by people who are foolishly waiting for a console that they know nothing about nor when it will arrive and a few teething issues you get with everything, embrace what is here, buy a next gen.5 PS3 in a year or so when they are out.
