Dead psu or something else.

A friend has a pc which when she turns it on, the fans twitch, motherboard lights go on but nothing else.

Does this sound like a PSU problem?

It does indeed sound like a PSU issue. Can you test another PSU at all? If you fix machines on a regular basis then invest in a PSU tester with a digital display to show voltage outputs. Best purchase I have made over the years as it's easier than testing another PSU

She's 300 miles away, god knows why she asked me, its like the blind leading the blind, that's why i asked on here

Anyway she has ordered another so we will see tomorrow, thanks for the reply.
