My computer has decided to stop booting, I was in a game and all of a sudden my display adapter started failing (temps normal) the screen comes on and off then BSOD.

I loaded into safe mode and removed the gfx drivers and it booted but then crashed again and now it bsod within a couple of seconds of turning on.

Got a 560ti a few months old and have tried another card with same results.

Running i7 2700 bundle I got just a couple of months ago, good temps on that. On one of the boots it said overclock failed which it never has before. That was done by ocuk and was solid. Which is why I think its a psu prob.

Any thoughts before I spend 100quid? ;)

Its telling you what the problem is.... I wouldnt go wasting money on a new PSU when tbh it doesnt sound like its the problem in my opinion. Maybe someone will prove me wrong :/

Couple of things to try,

Try resetting the CMOS so you know all settings are default and startup using the onboard GPU if possible, leaving the external out.

If this fails try downloading mem test (link below) just to rule out ram issues.

Yeah the oc message only come up one time and I immediately set it to all defaults but exactly the same problem. And I tried an older video card but exactly the same issue.

Will test the ram later but don't think that's the prob tbh.
