Dead Rising 2: Assistance Required

I have a problem with the side mission Code Blue. I got the text alert advising me to help the guy in the bingo hall and managed to get the medic back to the safehouse and got the Zombrex reward. But then I made the mistake of going and doing the Once Bitten quest and gave the guy the Zombrex without realising it wouldnt give me the choice to decline. I had only one hour till Katey was due her second dose, so I reloaded from the last save point and waited for the Code Blue quest to pop up again. But it never does. I've waited until Katey literally runs out of time and dies. I've wandered around and even tried doing the Leon phycho battle to see if that might encourage it, but still no joy. Now I have no idea where to get any more Zombrex and no way to keep Katey alive past the second morning.

Is it a bug? Do I need to restart? The save point is at 2am in the morning, 5 hours before Katey is due her dose if that matters.

Some of those are insanely well hidden. I would have never found those by myself.

Still would have liked to have known why that mission wont come back, but at least I can progress now. Thanks!

there is nothing wrong in restarting the game, you retain your level.

Turns out I didnt need to anyway. I got home last night and went for the zombrex that you have to jump across the lights to reach, but as I was doing that the Code Blue mission popped up. Despite the fact I tried it like a dozen times before and it never appeared.

Completely bizarre, but at least I now have a spare dose of zombrex for the next day and can carry on with the case files.
