Dead Rising 2 Pc Version any good?

This annoyed me too. I just wanted to play about and kill zombies in amusing ways if I felt like it.

The game isn't bad but certainly isn't great. It gets a bit repetitive and some of the boss fights are annoyingly difficult at times.

Same, just wanted to hold up in one of the shops and kill zombies that came through the entrance with as many daft inventions or items as possible but could only do that for an hour at a push due to the drug mechanic Never got far enough into it due to the sheer amount of cutscenes which made load times on the PS3 take by far the longest I've seen in any game I've owned lol.

If you can't see the contradiction thats your problem, it doesn't mean it isn't there. Can't say I'll miss your ignorant replies either.

also a little tip which most of you probably already knew, but when in the safe room always grab a fireaxe and then grab the sledgehammer just outside the safe room past the workshop and combine - it does a lot of damage, but mainly gives a lot more prestige points per use than the spiked bat - especially the secondary attack!

And there it is. Exactly how they managed to make the game feel like a grind.

Bought it on my PS3 when it first came out and didn't enjoy it at all. I hated the fact that you couldn't stay in the mall with the zombies in any sort of time frame you wanted (like most sandbox games allow) due to the weird "zombrex drug for your daughter" 24 hour garbage on it. Good idea for a game just with a pretty dodgy storyline and flawed game mechanics for the genre.

I hated the time limiter too, but after completing it, I found a trainer online so I could just run around for mindless slaughter

Plays better with the 360 controller for me and I'd recommend a trainer too. Time standing still while I beat stuff up and make the paddle-saw? Yes please. Was a fine conversion for me, nothing really wrong with it and played with a high framerate.

There's nothing wrong with the defiler haters. Hits like a TRAIN.
