Yeah they have to be taken back to the security room.

It's only my opinion but I think you are best off playing the game a few times round without saving many people (save the 2 that's on the roof but leave the rest unless you know you can make it back no problem). Your character should start to level up quite quickly if you just play through it a few times.

Its a 'different' game.

Many people can't get over the save and multiple replay scheme.

When the game came out lots of people were complaining that the game was far too hard and it was impossible to save everyone and do everything in 72 (game) hours. That is deliberate, the game forces you to replay (you keep your stats when you start a new game) and your character levels up. For some people that was too odd and they didn't like it.

I myself found the game thoroughly entertaining.

What are you guys on about? This is one of the most fresh and entertaining games on the 360 at present.

Some survivors are harder to save than others and admittedly until your levelled up saving them is a right pain. There's one very very very important bit in the game you shouldn't miss - imo it's the point in the game where you decide if its going to be easy or hard.

Of course, im ta;king about adam the clown - once you hear about this scoop get your ass in gear and get over there asap, don't risk missing it. After beating adam the clown you'll get the best weapon in the game (i think its bette than the megablaster as that runs out and you have to get back etc etc) - the chainsaws. With the right books these babies will cut through anything and they also respawn once you re-enter this area where you found them.

Also after this fight, go up to the control panel again to start a conversation with another guy who will show the way to the toilets and show you a very important shortcut that will take you all the way back to the paradise plaza toilets - making light work of saving survivors later on.

But before you try to play properly level up - it much less of a pain to play then.

Any reason why? I was looking at getting this in the sales, but have heard mixed opinions of it.
Well as people have said,, some people just didnt get it, i suppose i just fall into that category, just seemed a mish mash of ideas, no cohesion, and the time aspect i just couldnt get my head around, just seemed like a way to make a shortish game longer to me.

Which is what makes it unique. The 72 hour mode itself only lasts 5 hours, and many people don't have the patience to go back and play it again to complete other tasks.

This game has replayability inherently built in.

This game is one of the most original and refreshing titles I have ever played. Still on my first go through but I can see myself playing this for a long time to come.

After GoW Dead Rising is my fave 360 game.

There's no reason why for the first play through you can't ignore all the cries for help and just **** around, learn the mall, where weapons/boks/clothes are, and just have fun with the zombies. Once familiar with the mall I found the game became a good deal more fun, and completing missions far easier and more enjoyable.

ive just convinced my mate to start this game again

he played it before a bit but was initially disapointed like a few people are. you know its hard the save points are frustrating etc etc, all true btw

anyway he got his character upto level 7 not a lot, i started telling about how i finished it etc and all the weapons / baddies etc and his interest perked up again and now hes played it through about 4 times in a week lol

hes fully maxed out and loving the game like mad

stick with it guys its a gem it really is :D

Going to have to play this again after the holidays.. I got dragged out to a huge shopping centre on Boxing day. There were so many people I thought of parasol-ing my way through a few times :D

tbh i was going to play some more tonight, but i notived i must have deleted by save file a while back when i was "organising" my 260 hard drive. :(

Ah well, at least i have an excuse to start over again and own some zombies.

i though this game was pretty poor a few days ago but now i've got my head round it i'm loving it :)
once you get your stats built up it's so much more enjoyable. i think it will be one of the few games to have replay value, it's pretty hard but a good challenge too.

Before you play this, have a quick read of my personal guide i made to playing this game just tonihgt ;)

i think its a great game, re the survivours, the first time you play id say it is best not to save to many of them (mainly go for ones near to the control room etc).

But later on in the game, alothough it does get slightly harder, once your skill levels are up it will be easier to guide them to the security room.

One way ive seen some people do it is, play the game once, and inbetween missions mainly explore the mall finding different places etc. Once complete play it again this time inbetween missions rescuing survivors as once you complete the game you will know the mall, shortcuts etc for guiding the survivors back to saftey etc.
