I recently purchased a new RX480 Nitro+, it worked fine for a day then crashed a couple of times playing Doom (hard reset req., looping sound) now I lose signal to my monitor as I enter the windows login screen.

I can display the UEFI bios just fine and the blue windows 10 window loading screen with the circle of dots but as soon as the login screen should appear the fans rev up for a split second before going to zero speed and the monitor displays no signal.

Earlier today I tried again and got to the log in screen for about 5 seconds before it switched to no signal.

I assume its dead but just want to check its nothing silly my end.

I would start with the obvious. Is the GPU seated fully in the slot, is it getting enough power, correct GPU drivers, mobo bios update etc.

Do you have access to another machine to test the card?

Yep checked all that got a 7970 I'm using again so I guess that rules the PSU out too. Removed drivers completely then booted with the card in and still would lose output.

Try a DDU in safe mode and a clean install of Crimson 17.1.2, but if the same issue occurs, it could be faulty.
