Dead sata hd

Does anyone know if its possible to fix a dead hdd?

Mine was working fine then just died, ive replaced it with my older smaller hdd so I know it the hdd at fault, it doesnt spin, so what is the likelihood it could be repaired?

Is there somewhere that could look at it. ?

might just be the controller board that's gone. you could buy an identical one and try to replace it using the board from it. generally recovery places will charge a lot of money for recovery or repair
