Hey everyone, I used to have SLi, then I got artifacts and tearing with SLi enabled. When I take the bridge off and enable SLi the artifacts go away. Both cards are stock settings and relatively cool. I took one card away for my gf's computer but now I've bought my 3rd 8800GT so I can go SLi again on my system. I dont notice any difference in FPS between SLi Enabled or Disabled anymore and I'm not using any SLi Bridge (its lost by now and I'm 100% it was dying)

I've had a look around online auctions and they're £10+ and sometimes way more. My motherboard is an ASUS Striker Extreme 680i and the Gap between the 2 GPU's is quite big, somewhere between 9-11cm. The original SLi bridge was long and flexible.

Anyone had any similar experiences?

Its not the bridge mate, ive had the same problem, just google for SLI corruption or flickering.

I never did find a suitable cure, i tried several bridges and 2 motherboards, a 650i and a 680i

I just done a benchmark SLi (no bridge) and SLi Disabled

3D Mark 06;
SLi 14304
SLi Disabled 12535

(not at Sig clock, 2.8Ghz)

I get around 18K with a Q6600 at 3.2gig and 2x 8800GT in SLI (overclocked) on a 650i board using the bridge.
