Anyone managed to buy it? There is a Pre-purchase link on the first page, but I can`t add it to my cart?

At £30? No chance I'm pre-ordering at that price!

Within a week or two it'll be down to £20, everywhere except Steam :p

After watching the videos on steam I was a little deflated by the prospect of this game to be fair. Definitely won't be pre-ordering it. Will wait for the metacritic scores on it and read some opinions on here before deciding to buy or not

£30 for a potential GOTY game? Shocking. How dare they think they can get away with this.

Boycotting pc games until they lower their over priced games.

EDIT: Bought. :)

I'd never buy a new release on steam due to the massive price compared to retail unless you really want it on Steam. Seems like most of the time people who pre order from stores actually get to play the game first from a couple of high profile releases on steam recently

Played the demo on the Xbox 360, nothing really to give me a reason to purchase it as it appears to be a duplicate of the first. I expected some slight change in game mechanics and not the same Aliens from the first game, but it seems they played it too safe.

I'll have to watch some YouTube videos tbh, but i wish they released a demo similar to the first, where it got you stuck into the action, rather than running about, doing the occasional shot here and there, and then a Resident Evil 5 type bashing the keyboard scene and then it practically ends, it didn't really sell it to me like the first games demo did.

It's not worth buying a third party game on release at full price on Steam without a demo. If the game doesn't work on your system, and/or (as in the case of CODBLOPS for me) turns out to be a turkey then you're stuck with it with no chance of a refund or the ability to pass it on to someone else.

The original game was an excellent conversion in most respects, but had some fundamental control issues with keybindings and mouse look that were never fixed by the developer, though luckily being a PC game we could fix those ourselves eventually.

I'm waiting now for some PC user reviews and details of any DRM (from the Store page it looks like it's only Steam DRM) until I decide to make a purchase. I may even wait until it's on sale.

Still, it looks like a good game, one I will almost certainly get eventually, as I liked the first one once I'd hacked my way around the control issues.

I only buy games on Steam nowadays, I just like the convenience of it.

Managed to buy the game today yay! :D

75% off Dead Space as well! :D:D

I`m a huge fun of the first game so I`m prepared that DS2 won`t live up to its predecessor but it wasn`t even a question whether I would be buying it my palm is itching for some sweet plasma cutter action :D:D:D

It's tempting as they're offering pre-load which is very cool. The DRM is off-putting. :(
