Dead Space 2 question.

Just a quick question, i've pre-ordered dead space 2 the retail version, and just wondering will it install on steam or will it need the disc to run?

I know stupid question

Doubt it. It's not using Steamworks.

EA seem to use TAGES on their recent PC games which means once activated after the install you will not need the DVD in the drive.

Yes, it's SolidShield on Steam so I guess the same for retail -
