That's the best way these days - those who buy on launch are taking a big risk, especially with PC games you can't return if they don't work. Best to wait for user reviews, patches and price drops.

You'll get it without multiplayer then - undoubtedly on console it'll use EA's online pass, and on PC the multiplayer is locked permanently to an EA account.

I most definetly say YES Ok its not essential but the first game is amazing and it will be a nice carry thru for you into the 2nd.

thought the first one was good,so will probably get the sequel! camera angle was strange to start with but just about got used it,would be better in first person imo.

When I played the 1st game on the 360, I thought the game was great. I recently played the game again but this time on the PC and enjoyed it even more - probably had something to do with playing the game at 1080p @60fps vs the 360's 720p @30fps lol.

I will probably buy the 2nd game when it comes out because I'm a big fan of the 1st game and also the 2nd game seems to be receiving positive reviews.

Dunno but the first one's story was convoluted to say the least. I still can't get my head round it.

I'd play the first one before you play the second. It's cheap off Steam this weekend, and doesn't have any extra DRM.

Is this released on steam on the 25/01/11 as thats the american release date and my black ops didnt unlock due to there release date/time. would be nice to have it early
