I just got to the shop for the first time and I appear to have a lot of things I can choose from, that all have 0 cost?

I didnt have this on the Xbox 360 version I'm sure?

I do however have Dead Space 1 on my steam account that I completed.. I can find anywhere really that explains all this free stuff?
 
Ah ok I managed to google it.. one of those things where you gotta get the right terms for google heh. It seems its only the first shop.. so I bought the engineer suit and left the rest.. I hate starting with everything.. I'm hoping the next shop is "normal"

Edit: FFS the next shop, has all the normal stuff + the free stuff. This is annoying.

A little annoying you get them on your first playthrough.. but I'm playing on zealot so its kinda welcomed.. lol and tbh I've played through this to begin with but never completed it :)
