Dead Space 3 crash problem

I recently built up a new pc running a MSI Hd 7950, everything runs fine (albeit loudly) in pretty much every game/ test I've given it.
Playing Dead Space 3 however, I get a total shut down after a while every time I play. The only way to get everything back on is to switch the power supply off and on again.
I'm fairly new to this but am I right in thinking this is a problem with the game itself (as it's only this game) or is it my hardware?

Has anyone else had this problem?

Not having any problems with ds3 here apart from the occasional artifacting (must be the game dont see it Anywhere else), are you overclocked at all? Sounds like not enough cpu voltage

The card is slightly overclocked now, but the problem was there before that, it happens no matter which quality the video's set to in DS. Running Far Cry 3 on high I could hear the card revving up but there was no crash.

I had quite a few blue screens with xfire 7970s on DS3. Mainly outside when you go to get into the shuttle it would lock up and reboot itself.
