I've heard that the Demo will be available on the Xbox today, not sure if that's right as I'm in work but I love the DS games so hope so..

if you sign up on there site they will send you a early code for today otherwise the demo is out on the 22nd

It is.

They're bigging up this as a coop game, which means it will not be scary. You can't have scary and coop it doesn't work. You either have a suspenseful, tense singleplayer or a guns blazing action coop game.

You can't have a suspenseful, tense coop game that would be odd. And it wouldn't work because if youre both sat on the sofa obviously you're after some action not a "scare every 5 minutes".

I thought the co-op wasn't split screen? You play as separate characters and you'll see different things based on what's happening with the character. I'm pretty sure they'll be able to pull off the scariness!

enjoyable demo, not tried co-op though. It's just more dead space, not much has changed.

How do you get the Demo code? it say register on the site but other than signing in I can't see where to sign up for the demo.

Hardly surprising, Resident Evil 5 certainly sold better than Dead Space 1 & 2. In fact i'm pretty sure Resi 6 performed better than them too, however I base this purely on a random memory and not on any factual evidence.

Sadly decent horror games are not where the money is at...

After being stung by Dead Space 2, I don't think I can even bring myself to try the demo of DS3. I might just play Dead Space again and imagine what some decent sequels could have been like.

I liked DS2, but this is just a shooter, it even has a cover system, what are these developers doing?, its all about the money i guess, sad really

I really enjoyed Dead Space 1&2 but i'm not really that interested in this. I think the whole co-op thing put me off.

I really liked 1 & 2 and assumed this would be the same so haven't read much about it. I'm seeing a lot of people mentioned co-op and a change of direction so maybe I should try to find out more as I have it on pre-order.. the code for the demo would be nice but not got one yet.. actually I can't see the reasoning behind restricting the demo in this way.
