Just about to finish Dragon Age and looking for a game to play. I see Dead Space is less than a fiver on Amazon. System Shock 2 is one of my all time favourite games and this sounds like it has a similar setting. I appreciate it isn't an RPG, but what are people's opinions of it? Is it worth 2 pints of Guinness :) ?

The sound in the game on a decent speak system is probably the best I've ever heard. Really adds to the atmosphere as well and the game really gets your pulse racing numerous times per chapter lol. Its also not a cakewalk either in the difficulty sense, especially a few chapters in but I won't spoil it.

Heads up though - you may need to disable vsync to get rid of the mouse lag IF you experience it. (I didn't)

Very worth it. Just make sure you turn vsync off and force it in nvidia control panel so you don't come to the forum moaning about the 'mouse lag' which is easily fixed :).

Actually the best solution is to use the D3DOverrider program that comes with Rivatuner, fixes the mouselag and keeps vsync.

And yes, definitely worth getting.

Good game, just found the middle third rather repetitive. Perhaps it went on a bit too long for me.

An innovative and creatively put together game that I marvelled at on occasion rather than really got scared playing.

One my favourite SP games ever. It takes a bit of getting use to with the "over the shoulder" view but it can be very intense and at times I felt like I was actually there.

This was one game I actually preferred playing on a 360. Looked great and control was very natural with the pad. Big telly in a dark room did a much better job of immersing you in the experience than sitting at a PC desk.
