Dead space lock ups, help!

Dead Space keeps locking up my system everytime I start it up - only once have I gotten to the menu. Have tried running as an admin, but that hasn't helped. Any ideas?

Not sure if this game needs the internet on the menu like in Mass Effect 2? Have you tried disabling your firewall?

All I had to do is run as admin and it works fine.

You could also try newer graphic drivers?

If you have a controller plugged in try unplugging it.

I have Catalyst 10.12s, maybe I need to try older drivers?

Do you have MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner or FRAPs running? Some games don't work properly while they are running.

Worth a try.
