I've been playing Dead Space on my PS3 for the last few weeks whenever I get the time. However it's a borrowed copy and I feel I should get my own at some point.

I wanna play it on the PC but I have a feeling that the controls will be whack - does the Steam version of the game support the 360 pad? It's a GFW title so should do, right? Also does it have all the Live! stuff, eg achievements like Fallout 3 does on Steam?

Cheers guys

360 pad works fine, but I used mouse and keyboard and that was fine too.

Was that the Steam version or the retail version?
And can I ask where the £8 version comes from or is that against the rules? (OcUK doesn't sell games, so can't be a competitor right?)

They dont like it though if the website sells other products that compete directly with OCUK. I thought the same once, but was corrected :p

Yes, it's just the ingame implimentation that sucks, force it via the CCC and it should be good.

Never disabled VSync and it ran fine on a 4870 1GB. I used 360 pad for most of it but used the mouse for the shooting bits. Brilliant game! Scared the hell out of me lots of times... :D

I downloaded this for about £7.50 I think.

Worked fine with keyboard and mouse, although there were serious performance issues before I disabled V-Sync.

Great game.
